Today, we were given the opportunity to have a guest speaker tell us about Bushmeat. Basically, bushmeat is an illegally poached animal, from the "bush" (forest), sold as goods for money. It is becoming a very prevalent issue in Africa, and she came in to tell us what's going on, and what we can do.
The visuals made a great replacement for a boring Powerpoint presentation.
Izzy; always willing to take a picture.
Some people clearly enjoyed it.
Some were very willing to ask questions, whilst listening attentively.
Interested crowd.
Nikki later encouraged some students to share what they learned from the talk.
